Method
- Prepare honey syrup by mixing equal parts honey and hot water until fully blended. Let cool.
- Muddle pear slices in a cocktail shaker until broken down.
- Add bourbon, lemon juice, honey syrup, and bitters to shaker.
- Fill shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.
- Double strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- Garnish with a pear slice or lemon twist.
