Mango Jalapeño Margarita

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz tequila blanco
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz mango puree or nectar
  • 0.5 oz triple sec or Cointreau
  • 2-3 jalapeño slices
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup optional
  • Tajín or chili salt for rim
  • Ice
  • Garnish: Lime wedge & jalapeño slice

Method
 

  1. Rim a rocks glass with Tajín or chili salt and fill with ice.
  2. Muddle jalapeño with lime juice and mango. Add tequila, triple sec, and ice. Shake well and strain into glass.

Notes

  • Control the spice by adjusting the amount of jalapeño or removing seeds.
  • Frozen mango chunks blended with the ingredients make a great frozen version.
